Religious Archives Group

The Religious Archives Group (RAG) is a voluntary association open to anybody interested in the collection, preservation and use of religious archives in the UK. We aim to support the archives of all faith communities, including those of secularist organizations, and promote awareness of religious archives and their value for education and research. We advocate for the preservation and care of religious archives whether they are held by private organisations and individuals or in public repositories.

We maintain a directory of religious archives in the UK on our website and produce guidance on looking after archives. We also host an annual conference. Members signed up to our mailing list receive news and updates relating to religious archives.
