Folklore Museums Network

The Folklore Museums Network works collaboratively with its members to identify, display, and disseminate knowledge about the material folklore collections held in museums across Britain and Ireland.

Items of interest to the SSN are any physical item in museum collections that relates to folklore, as well as the literary material that underpins it and aids interpretation of the object. We are especially interested in supporting curators to catalogue and display their folklore collections and to create national databases of folkloric material.
